The 10.6.8 update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, including fixes that. Installing Adobe Reader is a two-step process. First you download the installation package, and then you install Adobe Reader from that package file. If you're running Mac OS X 10.9 or later, install the latest version of Reader. For step-by-step instructions, see Install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on.
+'How do I find out if I have an adobe reader installed on my mac?+'
Have a look in your Applications folder. If you don't see it there it won't be installed.
+'If not where do I find the most current version which will work for 10.6.6?'+

Click on the 'select a Mac OS Version' pop up menu and select 10.5.8 - 10.6.4 from the list. OSX comes pre-installed with Preview which is Apple's own PDF Reader. IMO it's quicker than Adobe's own Reader.

Installing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a two-step process. First you download the installation package, and then you install Acrobat Reader DC from that package file. Can't print PDF files on Mac OS X 10.6 to OS X 10.8. Also, try opening the file in the Preview and print from there. And for the installation issue, try the steps in the link below: Reader DC Installation issue on Mac. Let me know how it goes. Thanks, Supriya. Updates to the Mac OS X operating system can improve its performance and compatibility with Adobe applications. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu, or visit the Apple downloads page.
